Parting is such sweet sorrow...
The castle turrets towered high
Like a diomond in the sky
Sir Clayton, on a mighty steed
Rode out just after the King decreed:
That ev'ry peasant twixt the seas
Inhaled the air of a disease
And now must Clayton ride in search
Of sacred bark of bloody Birch
Wich lies deep in enchanted wood
Behind Dragon: Devourer of All That's Good
With cure, he must return or die
(to Castle Diamond in the Sky)
The brave sir saddled up his horse
After partying all night with the maidens, of course
With saword in hand, resolve thus bent
Into The Woods of Darkness went
Five days he searched for fiery beast
Until, by chance they both did meet
A mystic cave of dark and gloom
(one bed, one bath, and treasure room)
Before the sir had chance to fight
The beast made roast of the good Knight
A brave flambe' of courage marred
Had naught to do but sit and char
Thus with problem still unsolved
The guts of peasants would dissolve
The King sent out brave warrior Garret
Who was eaten soon by rabid ferrets
The King then sent out brave McGee
Who ran his horse into a tree
Sir Burton met a likened fate,
He tripped and fell into the lake
Sir oswald was the one who found the Birch
But was hung on the tree by the Holy Church
And thus the poison's course did run
(the peasants rotted in the sun)
And now their lifeless corpses lie
In Castle Diamond in the Sky
By three dear young men- who will remain anonymous unless they choose otherwise.
Heres to those wonderful times we all had together...
